Etter littegranne fikling har jeg fått Telenors mobile bredbånd til å funke med Ubuntu 10.10.
I utgangspunktet ble USB-dingsen oppfattet som en lagringsenhet, og den dukket opp som et blått Telenor-ikon på skrivebordet, med navnet ZeroCD. Løsningen var å installere “usb-modemswitch” i Ubuntu Software Center. Neste gang jeg plugget i USB-dingsen dukket den ikke opp på skrivebordet, men som en valgmulighet i nettverks-”appleten” øverst til høyre. Så var det bare å velge denne, svare på noen enkle spørsmål (Norge, Telenor…), oppgi PIN-koden og voila – på nett!
